A timber-structured extension is added to the ruined water reservoir in Pécsbánya, creating a space that offers both sleeping accommodation and shelter from the rain. Within the structure, the sleeping areas can be reached gradually by ascending a stepped sequence, while the top opens up to views of the surrounding landscape. Depending on the weather, the light and precipitation entering through the oculus create a connection with the outside world, while the intimacy of the space is preserved.
